Hey guys! Did you stop by and see my new project on the WPlus9 Blog today? This one is almost as bright! I used the new PURE Color Dye Ink colors to color some of my cardstock and created a cute little ice cream scoop shaker.

I used the two sizes of ice cream scoop in the new Sweet On You die set to create a little shaker.  I filled it with little heart confetti.  Since you can't just have one scoop of ice cream on a cone, I added two more! One I added the stitched detail and one I left solid.

 I accented the scoops with some dies in the Sweet On You collection and the bow is from the new Stuck On You set.

I have been having so much fun with this new WPlus9 Release!  I know some of the dies are already sold out, but Dawn has said they will be restocked ASAP!

Plush Friends: Pup, Panda, Pig!

Hello again! It's been a busy week here on the blog.  WPlus9 Release time is always like that.  With so many new things to try out all at once it's hard to stop myself!  By now your orders have started to arrive and I am looking forward to seeing how you use these new stitching dies.

For today's projects I am using the new Plush friends dies, Plush Friends:Pup   Plush Friends: Panda. I created a trio of cards: a pig, a pup, and a panda.  The Plush Friends: Pup contains dies for both the pup and the pig.  So cute and so versatile!  On these projects I chose not to do any stitching at all, but you could stitch paper, felt, vellum... You can create shaped cards, tags, stuffed toys...

I added accessories to each card like the bowtie on the pup is from a die collection called Sucker For You, as well as the die cut sentiments on each card.  The flowers and leaves are part of the Plush Friends: Pup collection.

I created custom colored pieces by using the WPlus9 dye ink in Warm WoolV.I. Pink, and  Lime Light.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'll be on the WPlus9 Blog tomorrow with another new project.  See you there!

Cactus Band Aids!

While editing yesterday's photos all I could see when I looked at those cacti were band aids!  With just a few snips I turned the cactus die cut from Stuck On You into a band aid!

After cutting the cactus, it just required a few details to really make it look authentic.  I used the tiny envelope die from EH Bitty Envelope Die and a tiny heart from the Love Showers Layers dies. I colored all of the die cuts with dye ink.  I adhered the bandaids on top of a panel that  had been cut with the large heart from Needle Point Hearts.  The white panel layered over the black panel allows a bit of black to show through the stitching holes.

A sentiment from the Get Well Gang stamp set finished the card!
 Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Stuck On You {WPlus9 February 2018 Release}

Hey! I'm back with another project that features brand new WPlus9 products.  This new die set called Stuck On You is part of the new Stitched Details line of products.  They are designed to be stitched, but there are so many other ways to use them.  You are absolutely not limited to stitching.

For this project I die cut the cactus about 7 times and added color to the die cuts with the newly released inks.  Talk about vibrant colors! I love them.  They color die cuts so easily.  You do not have to fuss a lot to get solid, even coverage.  The new colors are called V.I. Pink, Lime Light, and Queen Bee.

I added the 'stuck on you' sentiment that was die cut using black cardstock, as well as the little spikes on the cacti.

So simple, but those colors really make this design pop and no stitching!  Have a great day.  Thanks for stopping by!
